International Women's Month
March 8, 2022
International Women's month is celebrated to highlight the achievements of women in history as well as continuing to empower the challenges, issues, concerns, and commitments of emerging women everywhere!
Celebrating with us are some of Scosha's favorite women:
Meet Latonya Yvette!
LaTonya is the land-keeper of The Mae House, a BIPOC residency in the Hudson Valley. She purchased the home with the hope of deepening her family's relationship to their community. It offers a safe place for people to work, study, rest, and grow.
Meet Anja Tyson!
Anja is a New York- based consultant specializing in strategy and business development in sustainability, culture, and impact. She has been working in fashion for several years seeing the friction of improvement major companies seem to avoid. Because of this Anja works to provide mindful, practical, and holistic progress to companies who need support evolving their brands.
Meet Lindsey Bliss!
Lindsey is a full spectrum doula in New York City and the surrounding areas. She has been practicing as a birth worker since 2009 and has supported first time parents, multiparents, single parents, LGBTQAI+ families, twin births, medicated and non-medicated vaginal births, cesarean births, and VBACs.
She is also the mother of seven- talk about power!
